Meet our Dedicated Staff
Kristine was born in Indianapolis and raised in Greenwood, IN. She attended Center Grove High School and is the youngest of three children. After high school, Kristine attended Ball State University and earned her degree in Elementary Education with Kindergarten Endorsement. While in college, she also worked full-time at Marsh Supermarket, most of which was spent as the Assistant Deli Manager.
From 1995-1999, Kristine lived in Ft. Lauderdale and was a teacher assistant for Pre-K 4 through 2nd grade at St. Mark’s Catholic School. In March 2005, she moved to Jacksonville and was the VPK teacher at Cambridge Prep School in Mandarin. In October 2006, Kristine was hired by TCS to develop and implement curriculum and train new hires in classroom management.
In June 2007, Kristine assumed the Head of School position at TCS. Kristine has been married to her husband, Chris, for 17 years and they have two sons. Gabriel is 16 years old and is a junior at Bishop Kenny High School. Greyson is 12 years old and is in 7th grade at Christ the King Catholic School. Kristine’s husband is retired from the Army National Guard and was deployed for several tours. She understands the nature and demands of a military family.
Kristine is very close to her extended family, most of whom reside outside of Florida. She is extremely grateful to have TCS as a place of employment and to have had the opportunity to watch her children grow and learn each day.
Kristine has Advanced Director Credentials from the Florida Department of Children and Families. She and her family are members of Christ the King Catholic Church and her hobbies include going to the beach, swimming, and watching her sons compete in Track and Field sporting events.
Marlo was raised in Jacksonville and is a lifelong member of St. John’s Cathedral. The youngest of five children born to Jacksonville natives, Marlo graduated from Englewood High School in 1986. After completing an internship at FDLE and receiving a BS Degree in criminology from FSU in 1990, Marlo returned to Jacksonville.
Soon after, a part-time job became a four-year career in direct marketing at AT&T. In 1994, she joined Merrill Lynch, spending the next 7 ½-years working in mutual fund operations and shareholder communications. Marlo then spent a year at home with her newborn daughter Abigail.
In 2003, she began working part-time for several local attorneys and substitute teaching at Beaches Episcopal Day School. At this time, Marlo was asked to join a planning committee for a preschool in a recently purchased building by St. John’s. In February 2004, she assumed the Executive Administrator position of the newly formed St. John’s Cathedral School and Early Learning Center (TCS). Until the school opened in September 2004, Marlo was responsible for the building renovations, establishing accounts with vendors, providing tours and completing admissions for all new students. Marlo has since been designated Director of TCS.
Marlo was the nursery coordinator for St. John’s from 2005 to 2008 and 2012 to 2013. She has national certification as a Child Development Associate and Advanced Director Credentials from the Florida Department of Children and Families.
Her daughter Abigail graduated from the University of South Florida in 2023 with a degree in health sciences and works for Mayo.
Marlo and her husband Ronnie have a very precious Boxer named Blaze. They live on 2 ½ acres in Yulee with a pond, woods, and lots of wildlife friends. Marlo believes that our students are each uniquely made in Gods image.
Qiana Reid was born and raised in Jacksonville. She is the middle child between her two brothers. Qiana is the mother of one awesome son, Victor, whom she loves and adores very much. She is very family-oriented.
Qiana has 17 years of experience in childcare, working with all age groups, and has all DCF required training, along with being CPR certified, and is currently working on getting her Associate in Arts in Early Education at FSCJ. She also spent time at her last job assisting the Director in all administrative duties.
In her free time she loves reading, building with Legos, coloring, playing all types of games and shopping. Her favorite quote that she lives by each day is, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” Philippians 4:13.
Rose Marie Miller is the youngest of eight children. She was born and raised in Jacksonville. Rose is the mother of 3 handsome young men: Amari, Dominique and Donovon. In 2019, she had the honor of adopting her grandson, Amari. This was the best decision she has ever made. She also has a 9-year-old grandson named Carter.
Rose is a member of St. Luke’s Baptist Church where she sings in the choir, as well as working with the youth. She has been in childcare for over 25 years. Rose has her CDA in Infant and Toddler care, along with her Director’s Credentials and 40 hours of in-service hours required by DCF.
As a teacher, Rose believes her main responsibility is the welfare of the children that are in her care. Last but not least, she is honored to be a part of an awesome group of teachers and staff at TCS, “My home away from home.”
Subriana L. Stafford was born in Jacksonville. She has been married for 37 years to her wonderful and devoted husband; Pastor Darrel Stafford Sr. The Lord has blessed Subriana with two handsome sons, Darrel Stafford Jr. and Clelorn Stafford. When she married her husband, she gained a precious daughter, Chauncey, and has four grandchildren.
Her hobbies include track, traveling, shopping and spending time with family. She is a member of New Beginning Outreach Ministry. Subriana’s favorite motto is “To smile and know who you are in Christ”, her favorite bible verse is John 3:16, and her favorite color is pink. Subriana’s favorite season is spring and she loves seafood. She loves to vacation in Orlando.
She has completed her DCF training courses, CPR and First Aid. Subriana is currently taking classes to earn her Child Development Associate Certification for infants / Toddlers. She has been working in the childcare field for over 30 years.
Angela Robin has been an Infant/Toddler Teacher at TCS since September 2013. She feels blessed and privileged to be a part of an awesome learning center.
Angel was born in Paterson, N.J.; however, Jacksonville has been her home since 4 years of age.
Angela and her wonderful husband are proud parents of six beautiful children; four girls and two boys. Angela currently has an Associate in Arts Degree. She enjoys spending quality time with her family. She also loves taking care of her six grandchildren. She loves laughing, listening to music, dancing, reading, learning new things and attending Sunday Masses.
Her philosophy in life is GPS: Gratefulness, Prayer and Sharing.
Judy was born in Chicago, IL, but has resided in the beautiful city of Jacksonville since the age of 9. She is a mother and wife, with seven siblings. Judy also gives special love to her furry son, Corky.
Judy enjoys shopping and cooking, but when she doesn’t have the urge to cook a fantastic meal, she enjoys converting into a foodie and trying new restaurants with her family and friends. She has been a member of The Sanctuary at Mt. Calvary for over 40 years. When asked her favorite bible verse, she immediately leans on to the 23rd Psalms. Her favorite colors are blue and purple. Judy also enjoys the fall weather and seafood, especially during vacation times to the Orlando/Tampa areas.
Judy earned her education from Sandalwood High School and has been working in childcare for over 30 years, and has her Child Development Associate Certification in Infants / Toddlers. She enjoys working at Cathedral School.
Angela was born in Jacksonville but raised in Cuthbert, Ga. She is the middle child of three girls and after high school graduation, she moved back to Jacksonville.
Angela has worked in childcare since 1990. Her experience includes personal childcare in the home, church nurseries, and Reedy Episcopal Child Care Center. She holds her National Child Development Associate Certification in Preschool.
Angela was hired in the initial staff when TCS opened in August 2004. She served as the Toddler Teacher until the 2009/2010 school year, when she assumed a Pre-K 2 teacher position. In the summer of 2023, she began serving as a Pre-K3 teacher.
Belinda was born and raised in Jacksonville with her six siblings and parents, James and Gloria. She is extremely close to her family, including her 9 nephews, 3 nieces, 8 great-nephews and 6 great-nieces.
After graduating from Paxon High School in 1986, Belinda completed courses in Foundation for Success. She has worked in the childcare field with infants through five-year-olds for 38 years. Belinda has National Certification as a Child Development Associate in Preschool. She has been with TCS since January 2005.
Belinda likes the atmosphere at TCS where she feels there is consistency in a safe, loving environment. She thinks TCS has improved with each passing year.
Belinda has been married to William for 25 years and they attend Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church. She loves to cook and bowl. A lot of prayer and making the best of every situation helps her get through each day.
Patrice was born and raised in Jacksonville. She is married with a blended family of six children and 14 grandchildren. She and her husband have known each other since high school, but only became a couple 20 plus years later. They were married Christmas Eve 2015. March 2024, her family welcomed a new addition to the family, a Shih Tzu name Bruno.
She enjoys doing anything with arts and crafts. She loves putting on programs and plays with the children. She also has a love for angels, butterflies and good-smelling candles. She is a God-fearing woman who loves to hug and pray for others. She is a member of New Life Evangelistic Center.
Her favorite motto is “Just love … Love with your whole heart because love is a beautiful thing.” She began working with children in 1988 while taking childcare courses. Most of her years working with children have been in a preschool setting. She was also a nanny for a great family for 9½ years.
She has all of the required DCF and VPK training courses for assistant teacher. She is also CPR and First Aid certified. She plans to continue getting training in the early child care field.
Patrice would like to let everyone know that she is hearing impaired and has been since childbirth, but wears hearing aids to help with her hearing.
Last but not least, Patrice feels very blessed to be a part of TCS family. The staff, parents, and children have welcomed her with open arms and she enjoys working in such a great environment.
Rhonda was born and raised in Jacksonville. She graduated high school in 1994 and has been working with children since 2005. Rhonda is married to her best friend Justin. Justin is an Electrician and owns his own Electrical business. Together they enjoy collecting shark teeth, gardening, camping, and everything outdoors. They are members of Eleven 22 church where Rhonda is currently training to be the Pastors Stage Manager.
Rhonda has a 13-year-old son named Haiden. He is currently in 8th grade. Haiden is currently enrolled in the Cinematic Arts Program, where he is learning how to further his stop motion skills for animation. He has been an A/B honor roll student since kindergarten, but it all began here at TCS!
Rhonda has worked with children of all ages and loves being able to teach them new things. She has all of the required DCF training and is CPR/ First Aid Certified.
Alisha was born in Milton, Fl and raised in Vidalia, Ga. Alisha was married in 2012 to her wonderful husband, Lamar, with whom she has spent 17 loving years. She and her husband are currently raising five kids together and couldn’t be happier.
Alisha loves working with children of all ages and has completed all the DCF requirements ans is CPR and First Aid Certified. In her spare time she loves to listen to music and spend time with her family.
Anice Brown joined our staff as part-time sexton in January 2017. She helps keep The Cathedral School clean and tidy. She also works as full-time sexton for St. John’s Cathedral next door.
Sibrina Riggins-Goshay was born and raised in Jacksonville. Sibrina is married and has raised two beautiful daughters and a handsome son. She also has an energetic and handsome grandson. She is very close with her family and has always called Jacksonville her home. Sibrina and her husband enjoy traveling.
Sibrina has been a teacher at TCS for three years. She has taught in the Toddler classrooms, and is now one of the Pre-K 2 Teachers. She has worked in childcare for over 30 years, has all of the required DCF training, is CPR & First Aid certified, and has her National Child Development Associate Certification in Preschool.
Sibrina’s hobbies include shopping, having fun with her family and friends, and watching movies. Her personal philosophy is “Live, Laugh, Love and Always Put God First.” Sibrina enjoys working at TCS because she loves to help the children reach their developmental milestones, see their excitement for learning, and watching them move to the next classroom fully prepared.
Kimberly was born in Fulton, New York and graduated from Thomas Jefferson Corcoran High School in 1981. She has now lived in Jacksonville for over eight years. She has a son and a daughter, who are grown, and has a handsome grandson and beautiful granddaughter. Kimberly is married to her wonderful husband and they enjoy traveling and spending time with their family.
Kimberly has been a teacher at TCS for three years. She has taught in the Toddler and Rising Pre-K 2 age groups. She has worked in childcare for over 23 years, has all of the required DCF training, is CPR & First Aid certified, and has her National Child Development Associate Certification in Birth – Five Years of Age.
Kimberly’s joy in teaching is seeing the children’s faces when they learn new concepts and ideas. She knows she has taught them well when she gets big smiles and excitement from the children. Kimberly has enjoyed teaching at TCS because it has such a family oriented feeling, and the staff is so supportive of one another.
Bianca was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, but was raised in Jacksonville. She graduated from Duval Charter High School. She is the oldest of three children. Bianca is very close with her parents and siblings, and is engaged to be married in the fall 2025.
Bianca has completed all of the required DCF training, is CPR & First Aid certified, and is currently enrolled in courses to obtain her degree in Early Childhood Education. She has spent her time at TCS as a floater teacher gaining experience in all age groups while training with the experienced staff to assist her in her college experiences. This past summer, Bianca taught the Rising Kindergarten class and will be the Pre-K 4 Teacher this school year.
Bianca enjoys going to Disney, dancing, shopping, and spending time with her family. She also loves to play with her dog, Theo. She is very excited to be working at TCS and is looking forward to continuing her education while having a career at such a wonderful preschool and Early Learning Center.
Dericka was born and raised in Jacksonville and she graduated from Atlantic Coast High School in 2014. She is a loving wife to her husband, and they have two children, a daughter and a son. Dericka and her family enjoys watching football, especially the Jaguars.
Dericka has been working in childcare for over four years and has completed all of the required DCF training, as well as, CPR & First Aid certification. She has been a Toddler Teacher at TCS since she began working in March 2024. Dericka enjoys teaching the children because she is able to teach them new skills and loves to see their progression during the school year and after they leave her classroom. She enjoys being a part of TCS because of the family feeling with her co-workers, families and students.
Gwendolyn was born and raised in Jacksonville. She is a high school graduate of Paxon School of Advanced Studies. After high school, she pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Edward Waters University, and went on to obtain her Master’s Degree in Education Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Gwendolyn also raised two very successful children and has seven grandchildren.
Gwendolyn has worked with a variety of students ranging in ages from Preschool to High School. She has all of the required DCF trainings, as well as, CPR & First Aid certification. Gwendolyn taught the Pre-K 4 class her first year at TCS and is now working part-time in the afternoons in the Pre-K 3 & 4 classrooms. Although she is retired, her desire to teach and inspire children continues, so she did not want to leave TCS.
Gwendolyn also remains active in her church life, as a Lifetime Girl Scout Leader, a certified caregiver, and many other wonderful volunteer activities. She also loves to sing and passes this passion on to her students.
Selena was born and raised in Jacksonville. She is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. She is the middle child of four siblings and has three nieces. Selena also has a four-year-old daughter who is her pride and joy. She is very close with her family, especially her grandparents, who helped in raising her and her siblings.
Selena has completed all of the required DCF training courses, and is CPR & First Aid certified. While working at TCS, Selena has trained in all of the different age groups, but mainly works with the Toddler and Pre-K 2 students.
Selena enjoys shopping, taking her daughter to the park, trying different restaurants, and spending time with her friends. She enjoys working at TCS because the children are so happy and they make her smile every day.
Anyia was born and raised in Jacksonville. She graduated high school from Discovery K-12. She has five siblings and is very close with her family.
Anyia has completed all of the required DCF training courses, and is CPR & First Aid certified. Since beginning at TCS, she has taught in the Infant and Toddler classrooms, but enjoys all of the age groups. Anyia works part-time in the afternoons. She is enjoying working at TCS and is excited to help teach the children while watching them grow and develop in every milestone.

Tuition
Tuition for the weeks of December 9th and 16th, 2024, is due on Wednesday, December 4th. Tuition will be processed through the Brightwheel app.
The next quarterly supply fee of $60 will be due on Wednesday, December 4th.
